Towards the end of our international meeting for formators we communicate with you to update you on the journey made.

This year the Church in Japan celebrates a 150th anniversary of the discovery of the “Hidden Christians of Japan”. We would like to share the history of the resurrection of the Church in Japan, in this time as the whole Church celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The underground Christian communities kept their faith without priests and under severe persecution for over 200 years. Despite the efforts to eliminate Christianity, the Church had been alive in the hearts of the faithful.

Sunday, April 12th, the second of Eastertide, Domenica in Albis, of Divine Mercy, in the Church of Jesus Master in Rome, during the Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Valdir José De Castro, Superior General of the Society of St. Paul, Sr. M. Grazia Pappalardo renewed her religious profession for the first time. Sr. M. Regina Cesarato, Superior General, received the vows of Sr. M. Grazia who in April 2014 had made her first profession in the hospital in critical conditions of health.

Sunday, 19th of April, the community of General House gathered around the altar to give thanks to the Divine Mater for 50 years of religious life of Sr. M. Ambrogina Maino and Sr. M. Domizia Vignoli. Uniting with the sisters was also Sr. M. Tiziana dal Mazetto, on the 60th anniversary of consecrated life. Sr. M. Tiziana belongs to the Delegation of the United States and is currently in Rome.

Inivted by Bishop Giancarlo Vecerrica, on Thursday 19th of March past, I presented during the day of retreat for the priests and the deacons of the Diocese of Fabriano – Matelica, the Homiletics Directory from the Congregation for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments.

A letter from Sanfre

Dear sisters, by the knowledge that we draw from the bulletin "Disciples in the world" about the journey that our circumscriptions and the Pauline Family are making in the Church, in an atmosphere of evangelization, we admire you greatly, and are close to all with our prayer.

On the 11th of April 2015 the Disciples of the Divine Master of the Polish Province participated with great joy in the Perpetual Profession of Sr. M. Barbara Milewicz, in the Marian Sanctuary at Gietrzwałd. It was precisely in this holy place that the young Barbara discovered the grace of her vocation and there, before the icon of the Madonna, she give her yes to the perpetual convenant with Jesus Master.

On Easter Monday, twenty nine Disciples of the Divine Master from all around the world, gathered in Rome at Bethany House for the International Meeting of PDDM formators, which is celebrated in the context of the Year of Consecrated Life and of the International Congress for Formators, organised by CIVCSVA.

Easter Greetings of the Superior General

Dear Sisters,
Greetings for a happy and holy Easter because the Lord Jesus is truly risen from the dead. Let us rejoice and exult for God’s newness in our story and in all of creation. In fact:
“At Easter, on the morning of the first day of the week,
God said once again: “Let there be light”.
