We continue our journey deepening all the more our charism and the particular vocation and mission within the Church.
We juniors, also had the grace to participate, from the 15th to the 19th of September, with other sisters from our Congregration, in the first World Meeting of Young Religious, in Rome, organised by the Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, in occasion of the Year of Consecrated Life.
Though we are sad that our meeting has come to an end, we feel joyful and grateful for all the graces that God has blessed us with these days.
On the 29th of September, with the celebration of the Eucharist in the sub-crypt of the Sanctuary of the Queen of the Apostles, at the tomb of Blessed James Alberione, the 19th Course of Formation on the charism of the Pauline Family began. Among the 18 participants are 6 Disciples of the Divine Master: Sr. M. Paolina Kurek (Poland), Sr. M. Cristina Catapano (Italy), Sr. Marina Munkoko (Democratic Republic of Congo), Sr. M. Angela Heo (Korea), Sr.M.Aida Malonzo (Philippines) and Sr. M. Alfonsa Kandamkari (India). The celebration of the Eucharist was presided over by the Superior General, Fr. Valdir José De Castro, SSP.
From the 23rd to 26th of September, the Sanctuary of Jasna Gora, Poland, was 'invaded' by young sisters, brothers, members of secular Institutes. This happened in occasion of the 2nd Congress for young religious at the feet of the Virgin of Jasna Gora. Among the 1, 000 young religious present were three of our sisters: Sr. M. Emilia Kakal, Sr. M. Magdalena Goral and Sr. M. Izabela Lapinska, who in this big group of young people were able to rediscover and deepen the joy of their consecration. This is what Pope Francis in particular invites us to do during the year dedicated to consecrated life.
