At the threshold of the Jesus Master Church, one begins to contemplate the harmony of the architectonic space created by the unitary effect of the various single elements.

Altar
The altar is a block of rose marble. The design sculpted on it reminds one of the dynamic movement of life, in fact, the tree of life, the fruit of which is Christ himself, Dead and Risen. The four cardinal points which support the altar call forth the image of the 4 living creatures who adore the Lamb as presented in the Book of the Apocalypse; in Him that is, in Christ, they rediscover the meaning of history and loudly proclaim in praise and in acts of grace the freedom obtained through the immolation of the Lamb.

Lectern
The lectern (or ambo) is also in rose marble. It is designed in harmony with the altar be it for functionality or for deeper significance. The design calls for the explosion of the "rolled stone" in the tomb of the Risen One and hence the empty tomb. Through such design, one sees the play between "fullness and emptiness". From here the assembly "hears the voice" of the Angel of the resurrection calling forth the women on the first easter morning to re-live the paschal itinerary until they meet the Risen One in the Garden of Life.

Chair
The celebrant's chair is in the midst of a circular area surrounded by other chairs. Christ is the Lord present during the liturgical assembly. His eminent position reminds that the presbyter is only called to preside the community in charity by the power of Christ's Spirit. This presence of the Spirit is also called forth through the design at the backrest of the chair. It is the Spirit who prays with us to the Father, communicates peace to us and gathers the apostles for the service of the Gospel.
