Mother M. Scholastica proclaimed Venerable

On the 9th December 2013, Sr. M. Regina Cesarato, superior general of the Sister Disciples of the Divine Master communicated:

Dearest sisters,
I communicate to you, with immense joy, that today, December 9th 2013, Pope Francis, in an audience with Cardinal Angelo Amato, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, authorised "the promulgation of the decree regarding the heroic virtues of the Servant of God, Mary Scholastica of Divine Providence (Orsola Maria Rivata), a professed religious and the first Superior General of the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master; Italian (1897-1987)".
With the promulgation of the decree, M. M. Scholastica becomes "Venerable". As soon as it is possible, we will send you more news regarding this important event.
Let us praise and thank the Divine Master for this great gift.
