31° edition of the Liturgical Music Course in Bangalore Featured

From the 20th of March to the 11th of April, at the PDDM Music Academy, Bangalore, India, the 31st edition of the Summer Course in Liturgical Music took place.

The group of 45 participants was composed of: 26 religious men and seminarians, 5 religious women, 1 priest and 13 laypeople. The course was conducted by two Disciples of the Divine Master:Sr. Mary Gracelet Mudiappan e Sr. M. Rose Ngade.
This course offers over the theoretical part on the liturgical directives, the practical part, including the direction of the choir and learning liturgical hymns. The musical instruments used are piano, keyboard and violin. At the end of this intense education, the course allows students to become animators of liturgy and music in their respective religious and ecclesial communities.
The course ended with the presentation of certificates and the celebration of the Eucharist celebrated by Fr. Anil D'mello, SJ, and animated by the participants.
