The society «Regitim» (a society which organises exhibits, fairs and displays) organised the display «Religio» for all Christians (clergy and lay) from the 16th to the 18th of October 2010, in the City of Science and Industry of Villette in Paris. It involved three days of meetings and discovery for families, adults, youth, so as to deepen their faith. In the space which was open to the clergy and committed Christians, solutions were proposed for the development and restructuring of Churches, religious and liturgical objects, liturgical vestments, of the meetings with the different departments of the Catholic Church in France and of the Protestant Federation of France, with artists of all disciplines. A very diversified programme involving 11 conferences animated by journalists and religious leaders was proposed. As Disciples of the Divine Master from the community of Nogent-sur-Marne, we were present among a hundred or so exhibitionists to present our various works. We displayed our apostolic works, welcomed visitors and responsed to their questions regarding our Congregation , the liturgical items, and religious vestments on display. With the scope of responding to our mission and to make our apostolate known in the heart of the French Chuch, we expressed our identity as Disciples of the Divine Master called to live Christ and serve the Church with great joy. We thank the Lord for having giving us the opportunity for this display and for having aroused the desire to present our apostolic creativity to the Church. |
