Pie Discepole del Divin Maestro

On this second Sunday in Advent, 5th of December 2010, at 18.50 (local time) in the community of Sanfrè (CN) Jesus Master came to call to Himself our sister, Sr. M. Venanzia – Anna Scotto, born at Trinità (Cuneo) on the 26th of July 1913. Baptised the following day, she received the name Anne, the name which the Christian tradition uses to invoke the mother of the Virgin Mary. In this way, her parents immediately placed her under the protection of this saint which, in the valleys of Cuneo, continues to enjoy particular devotion. She grew healthily and educated in the Christian faith, in a hardworking family and, when she heard the voice of the Lord, at the age of 19, young Anne entered the Sister Disciples of the Divine Master.
