From the 24th to the 27th of May, two of our sisters, Sr. M. Silvia Sotelo and Sr. M. Luz Lopez together with Sivina, the catechist e our collaborator, conducted a retreat “Project of Life” for young people from the Parish St. Cayetano Burzaco. The retreat had a place at the house of the Schoenstatt Sisters in Florencio Varela, the diocese of Lomas de Zamora. In the past, some of them have already participated in other retreats organised by the Disciples of the Divine Master.
In a very joyful and fraternal atmosphere, the boys and girls made a profound experience of Jesus present in the Eucharist and in His Word, sharing with each other their search, their desires and their struggles. It was for them a time of vocational discernment, accompanied by the sisters. Photo gallery
At the end of the retreat, some of them shared:
"The Lord has touched our hearts with all His might, pouring into them the joy, the smile, the unity and strength in diversity of gifts and fruits. Thank you Lord for so many gifts! We don’t have words to express our joy. Lord, you said: "the glory of my Father is that you bear much fruit and become my disciples." May it happen according to your word.” (Cinthia)
"I have found the voice of God that has loved me and is with me always, also in the most difficult moments in my family. That was the best retreat in which I have participated. I get along well with others ... I thank God for this meeting! Thanks for inviting me! I am also grateful for all the advice I received." (Alexander)
"During this retreat I have learned to listen and to feel Jesus, to take time and, in quiet, to think about what I should do in my life. I’m very satisfied. Jesus has filled me and gives me the strength to follow my vocation. I thank God for those days; I’ve met wonderful people and have learned to listen. We leave with the comfort that Jesus is always with us." (Andrea)
