On the 24th of June 2010, in the Divine Master community in Chmielnicki (Хмельницький), Uckraine, the blessing of the new house took place. The first celebration of the Eucharist took place in the new chapel, project of Sr. Maristella Sienicka, was presided over by His Excellencyy Mons. Leone Dubrawski, Bishop of the Diocese of Chmielnicki. Concelebrating in the celebration were the Marian Fathers who for six years welcomed us in their community, helping us in various ways in the construction of the new house and above all, in our insertion in this new territory. The presence of the Superior General, Sr. M. Regina Cesarato, and of Sr. Maksymiliana Jakuc, General councillor, rendered the event a celebration of the whole Congregation.
Many friends of the community partecipated in the community, among which, the architect who followed up the work (an Orthodox Christian), and Pan Albin, head site manager who followed the construction of the work. Also present for the ocassion were some of the sisters from the Polish Province: Sr. M. Magdalena, Provincial councillor, Sr. M. Alessandra and Sr. M. Barbara, sisters who had been in the Ukraine for a time of apostolic experience. At the end of the celebration, Sr. M. Ludmila Dudnik, superior of the community, in thanking the assembly, recalled how the construction of this house is the result of the collaboration of all the sisters in the world, without which it would have not been possible to carry it out. On the 25th of June for the first time, the community had Eucharistic Adoration for almost the whole day. We thank the Lord who has blessed our efforts and desires us to staying in this country, despite the various difficulties with bringing the construction work to conclusion. The sisters are grateful to all the sisters who have helped us in any way, and to the Superior General and her Council who have placed their trust in this foundation and our presence here. On the 26th of June, the community of Chmielnicki celebrated the 25th anniversary of the religious profession of Sr. M. Vittoria Berloco. It was the second celebration of the Eucharist which was celebrated in our chapel. For this event, we continue to be grateful to the Lord, and we ask Him to send more holy vocations from the Ukranian soil. Photo gallery |
