Vocation stories: Sr. Muriel
The story of my vocation begins with my Baptism, nourished by the Eucharist, strengthened by Confirmation and guided by Mary as a member of the “Legion of Mary”. A vocation to the religious life was in my mind from an early age. I liked the idea of being a bride of Christ, living for Him, working in and for the Church, his Body whose mission is the salvation of souls.
Eucharistic Adoration
attracted me and after much prayer for discernment, the Holy Spirit led
me to the Disciples of the Divine Master whose primary mission is
Perpetual Adoration of the Eucharistic Jesus. Taking turns the Sisters
kneel to adore and listen to Him. One day as I was pondering on my
Calling in life I read Psalm 45 “Listen, my child, attend to my words,
forget your own nation and your ancestral home and come to the land that
I will show you.” Instantly I felt that these words were addressed to me
and taking a leap of faith I left for Rome as the Cong I believe a religious vocation is God calling us to unite ourselves to him more closely, to continue his mission at this time in the history of the world.

“More things are wrought by prayer than this world ever dreams of”.
