The Eucharistic dimension of
our PDDM mission is our
way of being active in the heart of the Church. This is
primarily carried out through living evermore profoundly the Eucharist as the mystery of Christ
and extending this mystery through the perpetual eucharistic adoration.
In this way, we bring all the intercession and particular needs of all
people before Jesus Master, the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Part of our mission is also to render service to the person of Christ present in the priest. This mission
is a sharing in the ministry of the Blessed Virgin
Mary, Mother of the one Priest, Jesus Christ. We offer prayers and sacrifice
for vocations to the priesthood and collaborate with them in their formation
period as well as in their priestly ministry. We attend to them in their
sickness, old age and momnets of particular difficulty.
From an intense Eucharistic and liturgical life springs forth the
grace to unite ourselves profoundly to the people among whom we live.
Conscious and attentive of their liturgical needs, we prepare and disseminate whatever is related to divine worship in
order to foster the piety of the faithful and to proclaim Christ the Master to
those who do not know him. We place the treasures of art and handicraft at the
service of the Liturgy, transforming the Word of God into visible signs and
symbols. In the harmony and in the simplicity of beauty, we make the elements
of creation speak a liturgical language.
This is to inspire God's people to
become more meaningfully "the voice of every creature" singing glory to their
Creator. In the local Church of the Philippines, their various initiatives
aim to contribute to the ongoing liturgical formation and renewal of the
worshipping community.
