Bernardita Mer\u00e1z Sotelo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Superior General of the Institute <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>for a six-year term, 2023 \u2013 2029 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sr. M. Bernardita Mer\u00e1z Sotelo was born on February 27, 1958 in El Molino Namiquipa, Province of Chihuahua in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>She is a Sister Disciple of the Divine Master since March 25, 1977.<\/p>\n<p>She completed her Licentiate in Psychology (1991\/1995), Masters in Gestalt Therapy (2005) and a Diploma in Vocational Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>She is currently the Director of the Kairos Program, accompanying priests and religious from various Congregations in therapy and diagnostics; and she is the formator for the Juniors.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, she was Regional Superior and Provincial Superior, as well as Apostolic Visitor for the Dicastery for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and for the Societies of Apostolic Life.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;12px&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/A_mu5sg_ArI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;24px&#8221;][vc_column_text] Today, June 21, 2023, the 10th General Chapter of the Sister Disciples of the Divine Master elected \u00a0 Sr. M.
