During that period, the presence and guidance of her pastor, Fr. João Batista de Almeida, a Redemptorist Father, played a significant role in her entrance into the Congregation of the Sister Disciples in the community of Manaus.

In 2013 she attended World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro. It was an unforgettable moment for Neideane: to be close, to see and to hear the Holy Father, Pope Francis, bearing witness to the faith before thousands of youth present there and seeking the same ideal: to proclaim the Kingdom of God, gave her support and strength for the journey.

On August 20 of the same year, she entered the community of the Sister Disciples in Vila Mariana, San Paolo. Neideane recounts: “Leaving the immense Amazon and going to live in the city of San Paolo was not difficult for me, since in my heart I carried a strong ideal: the Divine Master is guiding me”. During this period of aspirancy, I assisted in the Liturgical Apostolate Center. In 2015 she went to Cabreúva, for her postulancy and helped in the workroom. In 2016 she was admitted to the novitiate, a moment of special importance in the journey, and lived this with joy and enthusiasm. These were two years of significant learning: in relation to the community and in prayer. Especially in prayer, she was able to solidify her desire to follow Jesus Master, Way, Truth and Life as a Sister Disciple of the Divine Master. For her apostolic experience, she was sent to the communities of Christ Redeemer, RJ and Mother Scholastica, SP. Neideane described her experience: “I am happy and grateful to have lived this phase of the novitiate in Rio Grande do Sul, in company with this joyful people, who have strong faith and a beautiful culture that I have learned to love”.

On February 10, 2018, she will make her religious profession in Caxias do Sul, RS, sealing her covenant with the Divine Master. The novice testifies: “Therefore, with my life offering, I would like to continue to collaborate in the proclamation of Jesus Master and Shepherd, Way, Truth and Life, which our Founder, Blessed James Alberione entrusted to us as a mission. I am grateful to my family for all their support and love, to my friends, to the Pauline Family, and my sisters – the Sister Disciples of the Divine Master, who welcomed me in this religious family and accompanied me during this period of initial formation. This includes all those who are joining me and who rejoice with me in this special moment of my life. I entrust myself to the intercession of Mary, Queen of the Apostles, of Saint Paul the Apostle, of Venerable Mother Scholastica Rivata, and to the prayers of each one of you”.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”35457″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The vocation rises day by day from the heart of God

Pierenza Mellone is from the Puglia region in southern Italy, from the city of Pulsano in the province of Taranto, a marvelous location near the sea.

She is the second of three children. Maria Paola is her older sister, and Federico is her younger brother. The three are a gift of the love of her parents, Vincenzo and Maria Addolorata Mellone Peluso.

The seed of the vocation received in Baptism was growing in her heart and was gradually nourished. She was always active in her parish and in her diocese. Her spiritual, human and cultural formation is the result of a treasure that God placed into her life by calling her to Catholic Action.

Pierenza studied ceramics. After completing these studies, she attended the school of cultural arts, preparing herself in the area of theatrical arts: cinema, television and multimedia production. In recent years she worked in the kitchen of a hotel and organizing birthday parties for children.

After receiving this first degree, she began in a new field: Literature and Philosophy, with a specialization in cinema, obtaining various opportunities for work in the area of television, in the Vatican (as a volunteer), and with the Jesuits for Civiltà Cattolica, where her vocation began.

She casually met the Sister Disciples through a means of social communication: Facebook, where, by enjoying a photo, this was revealed to be a sign from God! Pierenza said: “My” projects “were different from God’s, when I made my first retreat for discernment in Alba, I was still engaged and I saw that time as a moment of grace to prepare me for matrimony… but it did not work out that way! God began moving in my heart through Mother Scholastica, who soon became like my “sister”, a great witness and a living and near presence in my journey”.

A series from God – incidents – opened the way for discernment. When she discovered that Alberione was the Founder of the Sister Disciples of the Divine Master, she had already begun planning her thesis, which was on the person of Father Alberione. She was directed by the Jesuits, who were unaware of her vocational desire.

Since December of 2015, like Abram who left his land, Pierenza was sent to Brazil for the novitiate. She narrates her experience: “It was a time of grace that, besides the spiritual growth, enabled me to experience ever more deeply our marvelous charism, to open my mind and heart to welcome and allow myself to be welcomed into this reality, which soon became for me “home”. I had many experiences on this journey, and especially in the past two years, but I was struck the most by the simple lifestyle, the possibility of remaining with and among the people, and also the wonderful experience through vocational animation”.

Pierenza is now prepared to live a new important step in the following of Jesus Master, Way, Truth and Life: the first religious profession on February 10 at the Church of Jesus Master in Rome.

Pierenza concluded: “I am grateful for the continual manifestations of Love the Divine Master places in my life, for the support of my family and friends, for belonging to this most beautiful Pauline Family and for the grace of having experienced this time of formation with the support and the prayers of my two provinces of Italy and Brazil. I ask that each of you be in communion with me in this new time in which the Divine Potter continues to form my life in order to complete the work he has begun! May the Lord continue to enlighten my path and thus, with the desire to proclaim the one who is light and love, I joyfully offer myself confidently into his hands!“[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”35458″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] INVITATION Neideane Alves Monteiro was born in the city of Coari, in the Amazon. She is the eighth child of Nazaré and Maria Lucinda.

[52

post-3600","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news-en
["GET
