Each Christmas we must take a step forward.
\nMay we allow Jesus Christ to grow within us;
\nthrough piety,
\nthrough all our good works,
\nand in everything we do throughout the day.
\nThrough the intercession of Mary and through the mercy of Jesus Christ,
\nmay he always be formed in us, to \u00abfull maturity\u00bb (cf Eph 4:13),
\naccording to the words of Saint Paul.<\/h4>\n

Each Christmas is growing, growing, always growing.
\nAnd growth is in proportion to the spiritual warmth:
\nof a faith that is ever more lively;
\nof a will always more open to God’s will;
\nand a heart oriented ever more clearly toward the Lord:
\nthe glory of God and charity toward our neighbor.<\/h4>\n

The characteristic that distinguishes Christmas from other circumstances
\nis that of joy and happiness,
\nbecause Jesus Christ is truly born and grows within us.<\/h4>\n

And may the New Year be
\na year of growth:
\nlike the plant that develops
\nfrom a tiny seedling,
\nuntil it becomes a large plant.
\nIt will bear leaves and fruits of holiness.<\/h4>\n
