{"id":6557,"date":"2019-03-05T21:57:00","date_gmt":"2019-03-05T20:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pddm.org\/in-3a-giornata-annuale-2019\/"},"modified":"2026-01-23T11:10:47","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T10:10:47","slug":"in-3a-giornata-annuale-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pddm.org\/en\/in-3a-giornata-annuale-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"3rd annual day"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;24px&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>PDDM Music and Dance Academy \u2013 Mumbai 2018-2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PDDM India:\u00a0<\/strong>On the 23<sup>rd<\/sup> of February 2019, staged in the open space at <strong>Prathnalaya<\/strong> by the seaside, this current curricular year came to an end with the appreciation of efforts put in and results drawn out.\u00a0\u00a0 The audience included, excited family and friends, eagerly waiting to see the performance of their loved ones. Our Chief Guest, Sr. Thelma, currently the manager of the Carmel Pre-Primary School and Our Guest of honour Mrs. Regina Rodricks, the ex-Headmistress of St. Aloysius School.\u00a0 Both were welcomed by students and parents amidst a lot of cheering.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The event began with our dance students offering floral tribute to our God and Creator followed by the yoga students displaying a few postures enhancing the prayer mood. A two minute silence was observed as a mark of respect for the <strong><em>martyrs of Pulwama<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 As the program proceeded the Chief Guest and Guest of honour were felicitated and honoured.\u00a0 The evening continued with a brilliant display of talents in the fine arts.<\/p>\n<p>It was a splendid evening with focus on theme for the evening <strong><em>\u201cBlend In \u2026Creation is calling\u201d<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0 A noteworthy mention of the back drop is that it was designed from the posters created by the very young students from recycled newspaper. Out of 110 students nearly 30 + 10 appeared for their Music\/ Dance grade exams and received distinctions and merits. They were awarded with certificates by our Chief Guest and Guest of Honour. The atmosphere was filled with the hope and awareness of a better tomorrow, for us and our future generation. A message inscribed on the heart of every single individual present there, to have carried home, in the words of our dear Pope Francis<em>, \u201cWe are stewards and not masters of the earth.
