In preparation for the opening of the Pauline Bible Year (PBY) in the Philippines, there is the desire to come up with a theme song that will accompany the said year-long Pauline event. Sr. M. Nimfa Ebora, pddm, a member of the PBY committee took the initiative to ask the collaboration of our two PDDM musicians Sr. M. Victoria Victorino and Sr M. Jessiebel Maata. Sr. M. Victoria wrote the lyrics and Sr. M. Jessiebel worked on the melody. Sister M. Jessiebel and Sr. Ma. Janice Golez rendered the video presentation.
The lyrics of the song reflect the theme of the PBY which is inspired by a passage from 2 Thes 3:1. The Pauline color of the song stands out as it presents Jesus Master as the WORD, the Way, Truth and Life. The song prays that the Word of God be honored and that it spread swiftly in the world to open the hearts of all to its power, thereby transform the lives of men and women on earth.
This song will be used as the Hymn for the Lauds and the Eucharistic Celebration in the Philippines during the opening of the Pauline Bible Year on November 26, 2020
