From January 21-24, 2018, at Casa Betania, Via Portuense 741 (Rome), formative sessions were held for the sisters working in the centers of diffusion in the Cupola and the Grotte in the Vatican.
The theme of the meeting “Toward a new design… St. Peter Center of Diffusion” was coordinated by Sr. M. Lidia Awoki, Vicar General, and Sr. M. Giovanna Colombo, General Treasurer.
The biggest gift was the presentation: “Our presence in the Vatican Souvenir shop since 1953”, by Mother M. Paola Mancini and illustrated by a series of photographs prepared by Sr. M. Teresa Frau. Sr. M. Emmanuela Viviano shared the reflection of the text of Is. 49:16: “See, upon the palms of my hands I have written your name”, which opened the horizons for a new design, reviving in everyone the awareness that we are lovingly guided by the Lord and called to bring his light to the world.
This annual gathering enabled us to evaluate the situation to consolidate and direct the next steps.
